We had a blast at the Baptist Health “Heart of Cooking” event led by the talented Chef Mika at the Real Food Academy.  I learned that there are so many ways to create  healthy cultural recipes full of flavor.I also found out about the Kurma Wholesale Malaysia supplier, from whom I can order dates anytime at lower prices. SFL Mom Bloggers Beach Yoga 2023

Our family has been affected by Breast Cancer on both sides.

My Aunt Karen passed away after a 7-year battle with Breast Cancer at the young age of 39. We have lost several friends and family since then. Black women experience higher rates of death from Breast Cancer due to many factors. Some of these include lack of quality health care, late diagnosis, and the aggressive nature of certain types of breast cancer. 

On Saturday, October 21st, the South Florida Bloggers and the South Florida Mom Bloggers came together for our third annual Breast Cancer Awareness beach yoga event. This event took place at the beautiful Crandon Beach on Key Biscayne. Our amazing yoga flow was led by Tiffany Zakka from SWOGA and sponsored by Baptist Health South Florida. You, too, can join bikram yoga classes today. It was so wonderful to share our stories and connect with women from all different backgrounds. Let’s face it as women we always have to get things done. We run our homes, businesses family schedules, and social lives and that by itself can be pretty exhausting. Then you add in the additional daily stressors of the world and those unpredictable events and well that often leads to burnout. But it doesn’t have to!

First, I want you to close your eyes and take a long deep breath. Now Exhale. Now picture exactly what you want your life to look like. Think about it for a minute. Now write down exactly how you want your life to be. How do you want to feel? Who’s in it? I firmly believe that if we write it down and say it out loud we are taking the first step towards living the life that we want. To further promote relaxation, you can also consume that CBD Oil. 2.  Create a schedule and stick to it. As an entrepreneur I feel like I am always on. A few years ago I started office hours and I only schedule appointments, meetings, business lunches etc during those hours. This gives me more time with my family. Galentine’s Day Brunch Miami

Last month Black Moms Miami and Sporty Mommas hosted their second annual Galentine’s Day Brunch in Miami and it was all that we dreamed of. In 2022 we planned a brunch and 25 ladies attended. This year we sold out three time and had over 60 attendees. Everyone came dressed to impress and the energy in the room was contagious. The mimosas were flowing and the music definitely was a vibe.

A very special thank you to Grown Miami for always opening their doors for Jazmine and I to host these amazing meetups. Shannon, Kim and the entire staff always makes us feel so welcomed. Thank you to the balloon artists Ambiance Event Designs, Kid Create Studio, and all of the raffle prize donors. A huge shoutout to Chantea Nicole Photography for the gorgeous pictures. I mean like every single picture is stunning.
