Pictures for a Cause

A few months ago, a Facebook friend reached out to me about an upcoming opportunity to give back, and of course, I had to say yes. This was not your average fundraiser; it involved photoshoots, glam teams, and families that were affected by the horrific MSD shooting that took place last February in Parkland, FL. Our sessions gave others the opportunity to get pampered for the day and make some special memories with their loved ones. An innovative tool like undress AI Free could be invaluable in enhancing and streamlining the editing process for such meaningful photoshoots. Additionally, using a free AI GIF generator could help bring these moments to life in a dynamic, shareable format, making the memories even more impactful. By participating in this event, not only did I get some beautiful photos, but I also met some amazing people with huge hearts.

So here are a few of my favorites and some behind the scenes shots from this very special shoot. A special shout out to Kristie Montrois and Priscilla Birro for working their magic! Most of us are always taking pictures of the kids and we never get good pictures of ourselves.

Fashionista Friday: The Glow Up

Fall is officially here! The Christmas trees have started going up in stores before we can even enjoy the Pumpkin lattes. LOL! I actually love this time of the year. I am crossing my fingers for some cooler temperatures though. Today it is 92 degrees in Miami but the heat index is over 100. Yep, it’s hot. I think Fall is a great time to try new things. Like changing hair colors, wearing a new fragrance or adding some new items to your makeup bag. So to kick off Fall I thought it would be cool to share some of my staples for an easy everyday glow up. And guess what…. it only takes about 6 minutes. Most of these products can be purchased at Sephora with the exception of the MAC foundation. What are some of your must have cosmetic products?

1. I love this light weight moisturizer from Josie Maran. Apply after cleaning skin.

2. Apply foundation. I am still a MAC girl when it comes to coverage!

3. I can’t live without my Anastasia dip brow pomade!

4. Becca Bronzer on the cheeks!

6. Apply setting spray to keep the glow all day.

Happy Friday Beautiful! Summer is winding down and Fall fashion trends are rolling out. Down here in Miami we won’t see cooler temperatures for a while but we can definitely start planning our Fall wardrobes. If you haven’t seen the blogs yet everyone is buzzing about animal prints. They are just about everywhere and on everything. From shoes to hats, belts, jeans, swimwear, handbags… you name it, its printed. I had an amazing time in Aruba with my hubby last week. (More pictures and vacation tips coming soon) But while we were there I got to wear one of my favorite new skirts. Fabulous Fashion on a Budget!

Happy Friday Sporty Mommas! Earlier this week I got tons of compliments on this two piece set that I wore to a luncheon. Guess what? An outfit under $100 can still be a huge hit! I bet you would have never thought that it was $50 because I paired it with my Tory Burch sandals and a Gucci bag. I have learned over the past few years that high-low fashion is here to stay. Most celebrities mix and match all of the time. Just look at Instagram and see Beyonce in Top Shop or Cardi B in Fashion Nova! I haven’t worn a coordinated set in years but this color was screaming my name as I walked by the rack. The best thing is it doesn’t need to be ironed!!!!! So here are the details on my look. Fashionista Friday: Red Hot

This is my favorite time of the year. The weather is slowly changing. I repeat slowly changing. The time change sucks but after a few days you get use to it. Starbucks rolls out their holiday menu and Santa’s Enchanted Forest reopens so you know Christmas is almost here. My calendar does get a little hectic these last two months of the year. Between the kid’s sports activities, school functions and play dates, don’t forget the play dates, some days are definitely longer than others. Then there’s all of the fun holiday parties, fundraisers, and networking events. Yes, it can get a little cray cray but I love it. And yes, I get overwhelmed sometimes but I have learned that if it is not aligned with my soul to just say no.

When all of the invitations start coming in, the first question that usually pops up is what am I going to wear? I usually head to Zara. They never disappoint. Sometimes the lines can be super long but I have learned that if you go before the lunch rush, it’s not that bad. I also have noticed that the prices seem to be going up. It still isn’t as bad as some stores but be prepared. Most of the time I am in a hurry so I just buy a few different outfits and pray that at least one of them works out. (They always work out #shopaholic)

On Thursday, FemCity Miami celebrated the launch of the Fall Collective Edition at Kendra Scott in Brickell City Centre. I was feeling very festive and bold so I bought a bright red dress. Everyone loved my dress so I thought that I would share the details. You won’t believe that it was under $30. Fall Fashion Faves

If you are a little overwhelmed these days like me you probably don’t even know that it’s officially Fall. I know Fall in Miami doesn’t mean much. The leaves have only changed colors (brown) due to Hurricane Irma. It is still 94 degrees outside and like everyday and well we Miamians just don’t experience the four seasons. Maybe just maybe we can wear leather or long sleeves by November. Or some of us might just wear those cute fall trends and be a little ….hot. After browsing Pinterest and a few of my favorite stores, I noticed a trend. Red!!! Red is so in right now. Some ladies don’t care for red outfits. Me on the other hand will rock whatever looks good on me. If you aren’t a red girl maybe try adding just a pop with denim, white or black. You can never go wrong with a red handbag. So it’s 2 days away from BlogHer17 and I am freaking out! This is my first blogger conference and I am so excited, a little nervous and well did I say excited? Last year my friend tried to convince me to go to blogHer16 in L.A. but I didn’t want to fly nor was I ready to take the official leap into the blogger hemisphere. Here we are a year later and I am taking that leap. (Yayyyyy) This morning I woke up questioning if I was really ready? Then came, what do I wear? Will I know anyone? Will I learn anything? Will they like me? Is this the direction that I want to go? What do I wear? Is this the right time? What do I wear? Yes I think I am obsessing a little too much over what I should wear. But really what do you wear to a conference with thousands of ladies? And shoes I need cute but comfy shoes for all of the standing around and mingling.

There is a crazy lineup all three days. And I got into the speed dating where it’s invite only and you get 90 seconds with some of the top brands. Yes I am freaking out. I am also really looking forward to seeing Chelsea Clinton and meeting Serena Williams. Yep, I am putting out into the Universe that I am going to meet Serena this weekend. I cannot wait to share my tips and meet all of the incredible women that will be there this year. If you are thinking about taking that leap and stepping out of your comfort zone all I can say is dive in. If you are waiting for the right time, guess what? There will never be a perfect time. #letsdothis
