I am so thankful for a great week. I attended a play with my son, hosted Sporty Momma’s First Holiday Bazaar and supported my mom at her Mary Kay meeting last night. It has been busy but I am blessed to be able to do all that I do. I admit things do not always go as planned but God has a plan for me, so I will keep pushing on. I hope you have a fabulous weekend. Last night was amazing. It is always a little stressful planning an event. You never know who’s coming or if something will go wrong. When we arrived for set up the room was not ready. Dust was everywhere and we were all wondering how is this going to work in less than two hours? I am so happy to say it was AWESOME! The food was delicious. The Sangria kept coming and we collected lots of toys for needy children. The other mommy owned businesses were a hit. We even had random guests pop in just to see what we were up to. After they made their $10 donation of course. I was very happy with the turn out and can’t wait to watch the event grow. Enjoy the pics.

These are definitely words to live by. Every time I give something whether it is time, money or food, I try to give freely because I know it will one day come back to me 100 fold. This time of year there are so many people in need and it is up to us to try and do our part. It is one of the things I like about Girl Scouts and why I signed my daughter up so early.

Today was truly one of those days that I could have stayed under the covers. It all started about 3:00 a.m. when the Christmas tree came crashing down and scared the mess out of me. Thank God for the Barbie Escalade that caught it. I am also thankful that it wasn’t fully decorated yet. The alarm rings about 7 and I hit snooze a few times but realized I have to face the fact it is Monday! My oldest daughter realizes at 7:30 that she forgot to complete her book report. Drove to Broward county to get some shirts made and the store was closed. You get where this is going……. So I decided to roll with all of the punches I can either let the little things stress me out and ruin my day or I can keep smiling and press on. I have an event on Wednesday!!!! Ain’t nobody got time for that. Hope you all have a happy Monday and remember to smile.

Did you go shopping after dinner yesterday? I didn’t. I enjoyed sitting around with family and friends watching football, eating and telling jokes. We laughed so hard I think I got an abdominal workout. It is hard to believe Christmas is less than a month away. So one of these days I will start shopping and making Christmas cards but today I just want to chill and continue to give thanks for all of our blessings.
If you do head out shopping, remember to be careful. Make sure you lock your car and keep all purchases in the trunk. If you see someone or something suspicious, don’t hesitate to report it. Happy Black Friday!!!!
The holidays are here and I am loving it!!!! It is the most wonderful time of the year and I am going to enjoy every minute of it. It has been an amazing 8 months and I am looking forward to what 2014 brings. I hope you all have a blessed Thanksgiving and enjoy spending time with your loved ones.
