Spring break is officially over and I survived!!!! We actually had a pretty awesome vacation. We spent 5 nights and 6 days in Orlando and actually hit up all 4 Disney parks and Lego Land in 5 days. CRAZY!!!!!! It was so packed, we had to divide our trip between 2 hotels. After all of the cash, time spent in long lines and the cold front that blew in on Tuesday, it was a great spring break. The kids had a ball and the hubby did too, so I was a happy momma. 🙂

On Saturday I ended my long week with a Girl’s Day out courtesy of Hey Girlfriend and Love Child Essentials. The group of 30 beautiful women spent the afternoon decorating wine glasses, chatting and yes sipping wine. It was a fantastic way to end Spring Break. We are just a few days away from Spring Break and boy am I excited. I think I may be happier than the kids. I am tired of homework and tired of waking up early. Yes, mommas need a break too. This week is the beginning of a lot of great things. Not just for me but for all of you reading this post. It is time to step out of your comfort zone and make a move. Maybe you want a business, maybe you want to try something new, or maybe you just need to move some folks out of your life. Whatever it is, today is the day. It is amazing when you start moving in the right direction, someone or something comes along to derail you. Don’t let them. Keep moving. I am off to tennis lessons. It is my fifth lesson and I am loving it. I hope you all have a moving day!

This momma has been BUSY! Last week was full of preparations for Fashion in the Gardens, which was fabulous. I also had a few business meetings and calls with potential partners but the icing on the cake was my husband’s 40th birthday party. He went from “I don’t want a party to maybe I want a party” in about a weeks notice. So I sent out a last minute evite to a few friends and by 9 p.m. Saturday night, we had a full 40 plus party going on at Town. It was great to see him so happy and all of our guests having a great time. I am not going to lie, I am exhausted and I need a few days to regroup but for now I am off to stuff 400 goodie bags for the Women’s Impact luncheon. Here are a few pics from my busy weekend!

It has been a long week. I have been running so much between my “Mommy” duties and Sporty Mommas I have not been able to write much. I know blah, blah, blah…everyone is busy these days. My Fashionista Friday will be spent at Fashion in the Gardens. This is a fundraiser for local schools that Sporty Mommas has participated in for the past two years. It is great to give back to the community and meet fabulous women while doing it. The day consists of a marketplace, catered lunch and fashion show presented by Macy’s. It is sure to be a fabulous afternoon. Cheers to the weekend!
