This weekend was crazy! We had two soccer games back to back on Saturday. The kids played really well. The U8 game was intense. I have never been so excited about a little league soccer game. Both teams were playing so well. It took forever for them to score. After about 10 minutes, they finally started scoring and our team won 3-2. Yes, I was the screaming mom on the sideline. (It’s the cheerleader in me)

On Sunday we went to the Dolphins game. We were suppose to meet up with some friends to tailgate but we were 2 hours late. It was so hot out there I didn’t even mind. The Dolphins played okay but we lost 26-23. During the game they sell 50/50 raffle tickets. Half of the sales go to the Dolphin Charitable Foundation and the other half goes to the winning ticket. I purchased $10 worth of tickets. Guess who won?????? Yes, I did! That was so cool. I can’t say exactly how much, but it was a couple of grands. This check is right on time! I have several different projects that I am working on so I can definitely use the extra cash.

I am so glad it is Friday. What a crazy week! I spent like 4 hours at three different doctor appointments. Thank God, everyone is healthy and happy again. We have a busy weekend up ahead full of soccer, date night, and lots of football. On Sunday we are heading to the Miami Dolphins Vs Baltimore Ravens game. My hubby is to hype. He loves the Raven and I am a Dol-FAN! So it is going to be a lot of fun. This week we will tailgate with some friends. I am debating what items to bring since it will be more like brunch. This has been a crazy week. Full of sniffles, coughs, and antibiotics. Today was the first day in 10 days that all 3 kiddos made it to school. There is some awful bug going around and it seems like it is hanging around this house. Today I am thankful for healthy happy kids and great teachers that make missing so much school easier. Off to complete make up work!

You ever stop and ask yourself this? We all have dreams and aspirations; things that we would do if we had more time, more money, more support. It cripples us at times ,but I have realized over the past eight months that we have to get out of our own way. (Thanks Stacy Boegem) Those negative voices and fear of failure can be overwhelming but if you step back, ask for what you want and reach for it, it can happen. Today I encourage you to write down 3 things that you want to accomplish over the next 3 months and Make It Happen! Our first charity event was a huge success. I initially planned for 30 women back in August. However, we had over 75 ladies and gents come out and raise funds for a great cause. Guests arrived and had their pictures taken on the “Pink” carpet. The party area was decorated with lots of balloons and treats. Our high school volunteers sold over $400 in raffle tickets. Former MLB players Cliff Floyd, Rondell White and Shannon Stewart brought their A game to the lanes! It was truly an unforgettable night. A special thanks to Dirty Mistress Photographers Nikki and Cha Cha for capturing the event. Thank you to MIA Shoes, Lori Klein, Wyn317, Sporty Mommas, Dirty Mistress for fabulous donations to the silent auction. “Pink” Apparel can be purchased at sportymommas.com Next year will be bigger and better. On Monday, I was thrilled to attend a recording session on Own Your Power Radio which airs tonight. I have been working with Life/Business Coach Simone Kelly Brown for a few months and she is amazing. Her energy, focus, creativity and honesty has kept me on my toes. The guests included a few other phenomenal South Florida business owners Ingrid B, Simone from Natural Trendsetters, Brandon Okpalobi of Dibia Athletics and Jon Saxx. We discussed “branding” and what makes our brand stand out from others. I learned a lot from listening to these veterans. The best part of the night was the laughter. We truly had a fun night. It was an honor to be a part of this show.

It has been an amazing week. I have met so many cool people and I am inspired to keep hustling. The B4B event is just 3 days away and I am so excited. It is awesome to see friends and family step up and participate in this event for a great cause. I went from having 2 reserved lanes to 7 in one week. It is amazing what can happen when you step out on faith and just do it. Today I am going to be on Own Your Power Radio discussing “your personal brand”. Who would have ever thought I would be asked to come on a radio show? One thing I can say in this short amount of time is when you pursue your passion and stay true to yourself, the right doors will open. That is my testimony. This is only the beginning through this brand Sporty Mommas, we will inspire women all over the world to pursue their passion, look fabulous and be a Sporty Momma!!!!!
