Today was full of the usual hustle and bustle. Dropping off, picking up, recruitment activity….mom’s house. The days just keep rolling by. I am really excited about our next featured momma. April is sure to be even busier with the release of the Sporty Momma’s Cookbook, my first bazaar and the Honey Shine Hats Off Luncheon. I am so blessed to be involved in awesome projects. I thank God daily for my family, friends and purpose!!!

So we are more than halfway through the month and I am beat! Besides having a really bad cold, I have so much to do and so little time. Between Honey Shine recruitment events, Sporty Mommas and well just being mom I have been experiencing my version of March Madness. A few years ago I actually watched college basketball, now I can’t keep up.

Yesterday I attended a fashion event at Bal Harbor. Tina Knowles introduced a line of couture dresses and they were amazing. I was sitting there thinking to myself it all starts with an idea. You need passion to succeed and faith that God will make a way.

God is good. My kids and hubby are happy and healthy and Sporty Mommas is doing great. The best is yet to come!!!!

Well things are happening super fast. So many things to do, places to go and people to see. Lately I have been so busy, I have to make myself eat. (Okay besides the junk food cause I am always snacking!) Business symposium and a party tonight with a whole lot of running around in between. GOD is GOOD! Stay tuned there is more to come!

Have you ever took a step back from your situation and realized how good God is? In spite of our circumstances, short comings and imperfections, He loves us and wants the best for us. When things get tough and believe me they have been up and down lately, I praise Him anyhow. I know that I am doing His work. Are you listening? Are you fulfilling His purpose for your life?

I cannot believe it is March already. Today was one of those days where I felt like I was moving in slow motion. It took me an hour to mail two packages due to busy kids and the wrong packaging. I found this awesome handbag store but the kids thought it was fun to climb under and over the displays. So no I didn’t buy anything. Why did I take the kids in the first place…I don’t know. You would think that I didn’t have a nanny at home.

I have been busy running back and forth to the pediatrician with my kids. Last week it was my daughter, this week my son. The doctor and I have decided I should have a monthly appointment scheduled since he sees us so often. Now I know what they meant about the first year of school and illnesses. 

Its amazing how things change when you have kids. I remember the anticipation of flowers and gifts from my love. A night out on the town all dolled up. Five years later it has turned into Brunch with the kids! Now it wouldn’t have been that bad but for some reason my beautiful kids were “off the chain” at Cheesecake Factory. One wanted to climb on the table the other under. Dumping food on the floor. Talking extra loud. For a moment I thought they were someone else’s kids. Now being a Sporty Momma you gotta stay calm and classy but boy was it hard. Next year we will not be doing the family brunch. I will definitely be calling a sitter. I am off to finish the Godiva chocolates!

You ever put on a dress or outfit and have second thoughts about wearing it…but you wear it anyway? That happened to me the other night. I was so pressed for time and excited about Ladies night out…I wore a dress without my spanks. I did not know how wrong it was until I looked at the pictures. Lesson: take your time getting ready even if it makes you a few minutes late!

What an exciting Super Bowl weekend! From the Celebrity Basketball game, to dinner at Phillipe’s at The Gansevort… we have not stopped moving. Getting in at 5 a.m. was unusual for me but hey sometimes you gotta get your Party on. I am so glad I stepped out this weekend and enjoyed the festivities. Since I only got two hours of sleep I think it is time to shut it down. I hope you all enjoyed your weekend too!!!

It is on and poppin’ in South Florida. Since the kids are a little older this year I get to hang out a little. So far we attended a charity bowling event. After dragging my husband to go, he ended up having more fun than I did. Men are so funny! Tomorrow is the Celebrity Basketball Game. I don’t know how its going to go. We are suppose to rock our Sporty Momma apparel and distribute postcards and who knows maybe even a few freebies. Saturday is Ladies Night. The girls will hit the town and hopefully stay out of trouble. Until then….
